We wanted to celebrate our Anniversary together by going to the Singapore Zoo and see the pandas. That was quite a popular attraction in December. However, the tickets were sold out by the time we arrived at the Zoo and one cannot buy the tickets in advance for another day. What a weird policy but never mind. Shall go and see the pandas when the River Safari opens in March 2013.
Since we did not manage to buy tickets to the panda enclosure, we went to Gardens by the Bay since Robin hasn't been there before. If you guys are keen, here's my blog entries on my visit to Gardens by the Bay previously: http://coffeeluvs.blogspot.sg/2013/01/gardens-by-bay.html, http://coffeeluvs.blogspot.sg/2013/01/gardens-by-bay-part-2.html, http://coffeeluvs.blogspot.sg/2013/01/gardens-by-bay-part-3.html.
Lunch at Wang Cafe at Choa Chu Kang.
Happy 3 Years together =)
Flowers for me =)
The Singapore Zoo.
As I have mentioned above, we left the Zoo and headed for Gardens by the Bay when the pandas enclosure tickets were sold out. Sometimes, it's really fun to do touristy thing. Like being a tourist in Singapore - Go to tourist attractions and stay in hotels in Singapore. Quite cool actually.
Gigantic Christmas tree at Marina Bay Sands.
To get to Gardens by the Bay, you can walk across a bridge from Marina Bay Sands (just ask any of the staff there for directions) or walk through the underpass from Bayfront Station (circle line).
We went to one of these places for dinner. Can guess which one? Haha.
Cute mushroom stools. A little like the mushrooms in Super Mario. There are a lot of places to sit in Gardens by the Bay so there's no need to worry about getting tired from walking.
We got the Cloud Forest tickets first. We did not go to Flower Dome on that day. Those interested, can read here for more info: http://coffeeluvs.blogspot.sg/2013/01/gardens-by-bay-part-2.html
I still adore this waterfall a lot. Very magnificent right?
Such a brilliant colour.
Grr~!!
Once we exited Cloud Forest, we arrived at the souvenir shop. I bought Robin a magnet there. After we exited the souvenir shop, we bought ice-cream. A must have/must buy if you ever go there. It is really nice. I'm not kidding you.
Two scoops of ice-cream - Cookies and Cream and Chocolate flavours.
Why this face? Lolx~
