Will you give up your seat to someone who claims to be sick?

This morning, someone asked me if I can give up my seat to her as she was sick. Of course I just got up at the first instance. But after that, she just sat down without even thanking me and she doesn't look sick at all. Makes me wonder if I should be helpful.

Gee~ maybe I'm not so kind after all. Oops~ but kindness means I got pushed around on the bus just now.

Review - Menya Musashi

Named after a legendary samurai, Miyamoto Musashi, who was famed for his double sword style, Menya Musashi has become a household name in Japan since making its debut in 1996. Credited as the pioneer of a new ramen culture in Japan, they strive to bring new experiences to customers through their revolutionary ramen. Featuring a creamier soup base than most ramen, it comes in white, red and black versions. The signature white tonkotsu broth is made with a substantial amount of pork bones.

There was a lot of hype when Menya Musashi first opened in Singapore. The queue was horrendous. Nowadays, the queue is not as crazy as before, and it is also partly because Menya Musashi has five outlets around the island.

Anyway, I still think that the best ramen which I have ever had was the one in JB City Square Mall - http://coffeeluvs.blogspot.sg/2013/06/johor-bahru-day-trip-city-square-mall.html

By the way, the outlet which Onyee and I went to was the Raffles City outlet. I think it cost about $40 for both of us. Still reasonable.

The interior. Looks quite atas. Haha~

Review - Malacca Satay Lok Lok

I have a new eating place to introduce to all of you! It is the Malacca Satay Lok Lok located in Katong area. A picture speaks a thousand words so I will just let all of see my photos. Haha~ Robin brought me there to try this new place last month.

Overall, the food is not bad and if I remember correctly, it cost about $50 for both of us. There's free flow of food and drinks. Quite worth it. Just that the place is a little hot as we were sitting outside. No air-con, just fans.

We chose the Satay sauce and Tomyum soup. The Satay sauce is not bad but the Tomyam soup is too spicy for me.

They do have some cooked food like fried chicken wings.

My Samsung S4 screen cracked

I am so sad. I accidentally dropped my S4 and the screen cracked quite badly =( I took a photo of it on my camera. Will upload it here tomorrow probably. Need to head down to the Samsung Service Centre and check. Hope that it will not be too expensive.

Review - Teo Heng KTV Studio

Do you like KTV? Do you like singing? If you answer yes to both questions, there's a KTV place which I would like to introduce to you. This place is called Teo Heng KTV Studio. For more information, see here - http://ktvteoheng.com. The rates are very attractive compared to KBox and PartyWorld. The songs there are pretty updated too. Although the rooms don't look pretty or anything, it is definitely worth it. More value for money. Haha~

For your information, the outlet which I went to was the one at Katong Shopping Centre. Robin and I got the medium room. There wasn't any small room left. Do remember to make a reservation to avoid any disappointment. Can check out the phone numbers of the various outlets on their website.

See the rates here:

Review - Hifumi

Hifumi is a Japanese restaurant at the Plaza Singapura extension. Hifumi offers free appetizers with every main course ordered. There is an appetizer bar where you can eat all you want. Brought Robin there for lunch one day. Surprisingly, the appetizers taste nicer than the main course which I've ordered.

My main course.

Appetizers. I like the macaroni.

More appetizers!

Robin's main course.

Spendings

OMG! I have spent $347.95 on food and $264.15 on transport last month. Is that considered a lot? I think so. Hm.. How to reduce it?
