Review - Chicken Hot Pot

Met up with Onyee quite recently at Jurong Westgate. I am glad that I am now quite up to date with my blog posts. The keyword here is quite. Meaning, I am not exactly up to date with my blog yet but I will be soon. Isn't it great? Like finally! Keeping my blog up to date also helps me to remember the things that have happened. If not, sometimes I really cannot remember what to blog about.

Anyway, there are so many things to eat in Westgate. So many choices! Onyee suggested that we go to Chicken Hot Pot which is located at level 4. Chicken Hot Pot is a franchise from Hong Kong. The food is ok, pretty standard to me. But I really like eating hot pots. Haha. In fact, I am sort of craving for it now! The service there is also ok. We spent about $30 in total.

Wedding Dinner of Jin Kai and Jia Zhen at Grand Hyatt Singapore

I went with Robin to his NPCC friend, Jin Kai's, wedding dinner at Grand Hyatt Singapore in September this year. Congratulations Jin Kai and Jia Zhen! May both of you have a happy and blissful marriage.

Anyway, I really like Grand Hyatt. The place just looks so grand and elegant. The food and service are quite good too.

OOTD taken in the toilet.

Should have done braces when my Mum wanted to pay for it years back.

I like the macaroons!

Here comes the bride and groom :)

It is so hard to book a cab. Been trying for the last 20 mins and I have finally gotten one! Hurray! There is a cab with the green light on but it didn't stop when I tried to flag it. What the..

So anyway, I tried to use Uber but somehow I got difficulty signing up for an account. And I can't seem to find the app for GrabCar on the App Store. Haiz. Need to figure out how to use all these apps.

Review - Three Little Pigs

Have you all been to the Three Little Pigs Cafe at the basement of Ngee Ann City? It is relatively new. As the name says, they sell mainly pork dishes. My pork chop is not bad but the fries are too salty for me. One thing to mention, I really like the potatoes there. The service is pretty ok. We spent around $50 plus for two people. If I remember correctly, I think the drinks there are quite expensive and they do charge for plain/ice water.

OMG!! I find that I am really not THAT good in writing food reviews. I cannot even remember what are the names of the dishes which we had ordered. Goodness! I really admire people who can write really great reviews, be it positive or negative.

I don't recommend the salty fries. Or perhaps you can order but ask them to put less salt.

Review - Akari Japanese Dining and Bar

Located on the first floor of the Marina Bay Financial Centre, Akari offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere and an a la carte menu boasting over 70 different traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes. For more information, you can check out their website here - http://www.akaridiningbar.com.

One day, Diana and I decided to eat something nice after work. We randomly went to Marina Bay Financial Centre to see what is there to eat. We chanced upon Akari Japanese Dining and Bar after walking around for awhile.

I like the food and drinks there. Not bad! The service is good too. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside. The atmosphere is rather nice and quiet inside. It is quite expensive though. We spent about SGD100 in total for 2 of us. But it is a good place to catch up with friends and do some ranting. Lolx~

I really don't know why I was hunching my back =.=

The fried rice is really great.

Review - Central 中環香港茶餐厅

Went with Robin to Vivocity one day. Decided to try out this Central restaurant which is located at the basement. As the name of the restaurant suggests, they serve Hong Kong food. I quite like the pick up sticks (lok lok?) but the other food which we have ordered is just so so. Pricing wise, it is not very expensive and service is also so so.
