Germany (Munich) Trip Part 5

The next day, we headed to Neuschwanstein Castle. It is a really famous castle in Germany. Set among mountains and a waterfall,  Castle Neuschwanstein is set in a really romantic place. King Ludwig The Second created the fairytale Castle Neuschwanstein like the castles of the medieval German Knights. The construction of the Neuschwanstein castle began in 1869, and originally it was projected to last three year. But Ludwig II wanted the castle to be perfect, so the immense building was not finished even at King Ludwig's death in 1886.

This is not the Neuschwanstein Castle. This is the Hohenschwangau Castle opposite the Neuschwanstein Castle. It was built by Maximillian The Second (King Ludwig's father) between 1832 and 1836.

Quite cold up the castle.

Long climb/walk to go up to the Neuschwanstein Castle.

Saw horse carriages bringing people up the castle. Should have sat it to go up. So tiring to walk.

Stephanie, I and the handsome tour guide. Okie, now that I look at the photo more clearly, the guy is not really handsome at all. Lolx~

Got tour time to abide to. Must go into the castle at the correct tour time. Simply too many visitors/tourists.

Neuschwanstein Castle entrance.

See all these people waiting for their tour time.

Scenery outside the Neuschwanstein Castle

Lunch! It was at this restaurant downhill Neuschwanstein Castle.

Hot chocolate on a cold day. Great!

Looking at the castle from afar.

The Europeans plant beautiful flowers outside their windows. Very pleasing to the eyes.

Really should blog more and more often but now my Internet connection is still very lagged. Load the webpages really slowly. Anyway, next up will be about shopping in Maximilan Street. Yay~!!
