What are your life goals? What do you want to do after your degree? Recently, I have just talked to one of my students about what she wants to do in future. She isn't that sure. Of course, when we are still young, we are not sure of what we want to do in future most of the time. Therefore, it gets a bit tough when we have to decide what course we want to study at such a young age.
Very often when we are choosing from so many different degree options in a university, we all hope that we can take up more than one option. If you have this opportunity to choose between the lists of double major degree programmes (http://www.kaplan.com.sg/khei/partners/murdoch-university-9/) that Kaplan offers, how best would you use this skill to advance your life's goals? It's so cool! Being the Kiasu Singaporean, I will choose this: Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Marketing (Double Major). I like Finance and Marketing is really fun! Totally regret studying Economics in University last time. Like not very useful to my career! My cousin was complaining the other day that there are not enough interesting courses/modules to study in our local university. Maybe I will get her to check out Kaplan/Murdoch!
Just some info on Kaplan:
Kaplan emerged from humble beginnings some 70 years ago when founder Stanley Kaplan started offering “tuition” classes in his Brooklyn basement in 1938. It has since become a leading international provider of educational and career services for individuals, schools and businesses, catering to more than 1 million students from more than 500 locations around the world.
