Bangkok Trip Part 9

Continue from: http://www.coffeeluvs.blogspot.sg/2014/03/bangkok-trip-part-8.html.

Last day in Bangkok. We wanted to go to Wat Pho (for more information, please see, http://www.watpho.com/index.php) and Grand Palace (for more information, please see, http://www.tourismthailand.org/See-and-Do/Sights-and-Attractions-Detail/The-Grand-Palace--52). Admission fee for Wat Pho is 100 baht. I think that the admission fee for the Grand Palace is 500 baht. Too bad, we didn't get to go inside the Grand Palace due to a lack of time. We need to catch our flight home!

To go to Wat Pho, take the BTS Skytrain to Taksin Station. From there, take a Chao Phraya River Express boat to Tha Tien. You can confirm it again with the staff when you buy the tickets for the boat ride. If I remember correctly, the boat ride cost 100 baht. It is not negotiable so don't bother to bargain with the person at the counter. Heard someone bargained for a long time unsuccessfully when we were there.

My lunch. Tomyam again. Yay!

Oh yeah, do not dress too skimpily/revealing when you go there. No shorts.

Reclining Buddha.

It's a beautiful place.
