I don't know is it my problem or what but I really can't stand civil servants. Can't they just answer a simple question of yes or no?

I had the exact same issue recently...but not exactly with civil servants but customer service for an insurance firm. I think there's something wrong with the whole system. Customer service is sometimes quite infuriating/rude and I think the issue stems from the top.

@bookjunkie: I really don't understand why can't they just answer my question but got to ask for my name, company and phone number. It is just a simple general enquiry. What's there to record?
