Last Sunday, Diana and I embarked on a Groupon trip. Haha~ Now why do I call it a Groupon trip? Coz our main objective of the outing is to use our Groupon vouchers.
The first place we went to was Nailz Treats.
It was located at level 4 of Far East Plaza. The shop is a small and cozy place. Not bad.
So anyway, our Groupon includes:
- Deluxe manicure and pedicure
- Aromatherapy feet bath
- Scrub
- Massage
- Anti-aging Grapeseed feet wrap
And they did everything on the list so that's great. But of course, they will ask you to top up for other things like $10 to remove fingernails cuticles, $10 to remove toenails cuticles and $3 for a long lasting finish coat. So all in all we actually paid $10 + $10 + $3 + $28 (for the Groupon) = $51
Wow~ Didn't realize how much it actually cost. Although the experience is a nice one, the service is good, etc.. Sometimes, maybe it cost more to buy Groupons/deals. But I would recommend this place for its good service =)
End results:
Now, can you guess which colour I put and which colour Diana put? Hee~
At 7:30pm, we went to use our second Groupon. Eyebrow threading at Browhaus at ION Orchard. Never know that there is a Browhaus there. Fyi, it's located at level 3. It was not a good experience. The person who thread our eyebrows is called Jelly. I have no idea why but she showed us her black face throughout the session. Got attitude problem lor.
There's a promotion tied up with Groupon. For Groupon users, we can purchase 2 sessions of eyebrow threading (valid for 6 months, non transferable) at $21. Usual price was $16 per threading. Both of us didn't take up the offer. Although she did a not bad job but her attitude sucked!
