Started my Christmas celebration on 23 December. Ordered in pizza for lunch, followed by gift exchange among my fellow colleagues. I picked Adira, gave her a Faceshop Christmas set (it's a blusher cum lip gloss). Anna picked me, gave me a Starbucks cup with sweets and chocolates inside (I haven't taken a photo of it yet. Lazy lah, k?) Am very pleased with my present xD Heehee~ The other presents were all pretty good, shall not elaborate here since it has nothing to do with me. (Haha~ later the post is too long.)

Debbie gave me sweets from The Candy Lab. The sweets are so cool, with words written on it!! Amy gave me chocolates. Didn't expect her to give me something.

Met Onyee and Rachel at Soup Spoon at ION Orchard after work. I was the earliest to reach (ta-da! I am the early bird =P). After dinner, Onyee and Rachel got chocolates for their colleagues (I got for mine yesterday) while I got chocolates for Robin. Don't know what to get him and I really have no time to really shop for presents for him. Haiz~ I prefer shopping for presents for girls. It's always easier. Anyway, I will make up for it.

After shopping, we went to Applebee's for a drink. I remembered that I went to Applebee's with Jeanette in US. The drink was nice and the place was nice. Anyway, the food there seems pretty good. Onyee and Rachel shared a sangria (can't remember what sangria they drank) while I drank a non-alcoholic drink (can't be helped. I'm still taking my antibiotics and cough syrup.) Then we exchanged presents. Got a lipgloss for Onyee from The Faceshop which she wanted. Am glad that she likes it. Rachel got me a water bottle and merci chocolates. She gave us each a $10 Capitamalls voucher. Thank you, appreciated =) By the way, Onyee got rashes from drinking the sangria. Lucky, it's not itchy and she recovered from it quite fast.

On 24 December - Christmas Eve. Had an inter-department fruit challenge. We were supposed to use fruits to make a dessert/appetizer/something and compete within the company. Anyway, our department made Verrine. This reminds me of Verlene. Haha~ Anyway, for those who don't know what is verrine, please go and google it. Hee~

Somehow, I was arrowed to present for our department last minute. WTH lah. Nervous, nervous. Anyway, we didn't win anything. IT won the first with their very nice and creative fruit fondue. Their Christmas tree was so nicely made lah. Finance won second and HR came in third. Had Christmas buffet lunch later. Received sweets and chocolates from fellow colleagues. Gave out my chocolates too =) By the way, my boss gave me a charity calender. Not a bad idea as a Christmas gift. Maybe I can consider it next year.

We ended work at 3pm that day. Robin went with me to IMM for my 紫微斗数 session. He was not able to go in with me, so I went in alone. As this post is getting so long, I shall not elaborate what the 师傅 told me. I find that some of the things she said are quite accurate. Scary man. Please don't ask me what okie? *secret secret*

Met Verlene and Sammie boy at 313 Somerset for dinner. We had dinner at this place called Hot Tomato Cafe & Grill. As usual, Desmond is late (late king lor). The food is not bad. The boss/manager is quite pretty (can't help noticing her) but cold. After dinner, we decided to go to Harry's at The Esplanade to drink and chill. Robin ordered Long Island and gulped it down. Then his face was soooo red. Alamak. Told him to order beer, he don't believe me. Want to follow what Desmond ordered. I ordered Cherry something.. Again, non-alcoholic. See, I'm so guai but.. why hasn't my cough improved? It seems to be getting worse! Boo!! =(

We played truth or dare. Made a few discoveries during the session. Amazing! We missed the countdown to Christmas. By the time, we realised it, it's 12:05am. Anyway, nobody was counting down in the pub either. So not happening.

I wish for a white Christmas.

Oh no!! Am dying!!! I seriously hate cough. Hard to recover from it. Then I still got to work as my assistant is off today. Really tempted to take MC. Just now, I felt really nauseous.

Anyway, so sad. The early bird promo for Bintan Lagoon is gone/over. Ah yoh. That Diana. Take so long to decide. Oops man. Don't tell me now even Diana is pissing me off? Oh no...

I saw Sugi from Project Superstar at the Popular bookfest a few days ago. He came and spoke to us. Simin doesn't recognize him. I just found him familiar, like someone from the TV but can't really remember who. It took me awhile to remember him. He seems really nice and friendly. Not so exaggerating like on TV, which is good. Nice to meet him =) At least, he isn't one of those arrogant artistes.

I am down with a sore throat. Maybe feeling feverish. Argh!! Haven't even done my Christmas shopping. Shit man. No time =(

Omg man. I have been so busy at work and damn many things cropped up that I really feel like scolding people. And saying the F word. Argh!!! Please bear with me. Didn't mean to be so impatient to you all.

Last time A told me something bad about B but I don't really believe totally. Today, I feel that maybe (most probably) A is correct. Anyway, C said that she feels that B is jian. Well, I won't use the word jian on B. I don't know what word to use on him also. Just that it's not something good bah. People use to say but now I feel it too.

Why are there so many things to worry and fret about? That time Verlene said that she doesn't like to be herself. Probably she thinks that being herself is not good. Well, sometimes (or maybe it's getting to be most of the time now) I don't like/want to be me too. I wish to be someone else.

Went to Outback for the first time (I think) at Millenia Walk on Sat. Love the food, especially the fries. Great! Nice ambience too except the restaurant was rather packed so.. the service is a bit slow...

It is December already. So fast. I like December. It is like the holiday seasons. Everywhere seems so merry and bright. Just take a look at Orchard road at night. It's nice. I did not take a photo of it. You all can go and see for yourself. It looks really beautiful =)

Went to watch Narnia 3D with Robin today. Fell asleep at some point. The show is quite boring. By the way, how come there is no 3D for Harry Potter? Should be interesting. Haha~ There are a few movies which I intend to watch. Hope to have the time.

Sometimes Singtel/Singnet is really pissing me off. I hate getting DC and calling their hotline is of not much use. Rude staff, etc. By they way, I really need to share something with you here.. Today, there is this crazy woman on the LRT who asked this guy to give up his seat to an old uncle standing in front of him. Seems like the woman is very nice and all that right? But she's also sitting down. Like really WTH lah! Why can't she just give up her own seat? Got to ask other people to do so. Tsk tsk~

This year, civil servants are getting a 2 month bonus. Well, this is good for them. But civil servants are no longer iron rice bowls. They are mostly on contractual basis, no longer permanent except maybe teacher or something.

I just came back from watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 at The Cathay with Robin. There's a new Popeyes outlet at B1. The date started out ok but didn't end well. I dislike PDA... I really don't like it but.. I think Robin doesn't get it at all. Well, although he said that he does but weeks after weeks, the same thing still happens. I feel so sick, now I don't really feel like going dating anymore.

Sorry seriously doesn't mean anything to me if the same thing is going to happen again and again. What's the point of being sorry then?

I shall not use my phone in the toilet. Full stop.

PS: Nope, I didn't drop my phone into the toilet bowl or something. Just a statement.

Today is Saturday and I stayed at home for the whole day. Hm.. At least I caught up with my sleep. Haha~ Seems like my eczema is acting up again. Perhaps I should change doctor? Alamak~ Sianz man. Last time I don't have such a problem. Just recently. Don't know if it's really due to stress or what?

Anyway, forgot to blog about this but welcome my Mum and Grandma back!!! Haha~

Went to Universal Studios Singapore (USS) with Robin and Cindy on Thursday!! Took leave with Cindy specially to go coz our buyer got free tix for us. Haha~ Thanks Jason! =) But poor Robin got to pay for his own tix - $66. Quite exp!

Luckily we went on a non-peak period. The place was not very crowded. Didn't have to queue for so long at the rides. But as we met at 12:30pm, there wasn't really enough time to explore everything =( So if you guys/gals wanna go, please go early in the morning. Do not need to bring a big bottle of water as there are water coolers located at many spots. Can always refill your bottle.

As Mum has borrowed my camera to China, I have to use Cindy's camera and my iPhone to take photos. Can really take lots and lots of photos there. Cindy has posted the photos on facebook but I have yet to go and save them into my own album. Lazy lah for now...

I adore the Shrek 4D show. It's definitely one of the highlights! Very suitable for adults/teenages/kids.

Battle scene. I love the show for WaterWorld too. Really very interesting and awesome!! Very grand and real too! A must watch if you go to Universal Studio.

Guess what's that creature and is it real?? By the way, do we look WET there? This is because we were soaked (really very WET!) when we took the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. An advise to all: Bring extra clothings and a towel.

After USS, we went to eat at Ruyi (a 24hr eatery) near the casino. The casino looked quite crowded from the outside. Must be making a lot of money. I will go in and take a look if there's no need to pay for any entrance fee. $100 as an entrance fee is too expensive for me. Like bo hua leh.

Home sweet home later. Tired liao and still got work the next day! But heng, it's Friday so should be in a good mood at work!

Somehow sometimes I feel really detached from friends/people. Like people are becoming more selfish and self-centered. They like to make use of others. Even if I treat them well, it doesn't mean that it will be appreciated. People still can make use of you. Maybe I am too? Am I like that? Or becoming like that? One thing though, I am becoming more hypocritical. But like what Anna said.. In this society, one can't avoid becoming a bit hypocritical and fake. Perhaps that is the sad truth.

I'm very angry with my mother lor. Wth lah, coz I'm starving already at home. She's pissing me off. If she's going to be this late then don't tell me that she's going to tabao lunch for me lah. Now is what time already? Still call lunch meh?

Went for training yesterday. OMG! Was so tired. Practically stood for the whole day. Really admire those who can tahan it.

Met Robin after that. There was a long queue for Koi bubble tea at Iluma. The boss there must be rich! Went to watch a movie, The Town, at Filmgarde. The theatre is quite empty. Anyway, the show was rather boring. Yawnz~ So sianz~ A lot of F word in the show, that's all. Home sweet home after that coz really too tired. Legs very suan + no place to sit on the bus = really wanna throw my temper. Haha~

Mummy will be going to China on Monday. Somehow, I am looking forward to it. One whole week of freedom! Haha~

Argh!! 我不想长大。

I really don't know why some people always like to ask others for help. They have hands and legs so why can't they do their things themselves? For eg. I don't know why when some people go to the fast food restaurant, they can conveniently sit down and just tell others (me!) to help them order? It's not that I don't wanna help or anything but aren't they too much to keep doing that? Really buay tahan them. Okie, perhaps I'm too nice to them? Don't wanna be nice anymore.

有些人让我又喜欢又不喜欢她。 很乱吧？ Haiz~ 我也很乱。 I hate people coming near me. So shoo! I didn't mean to be mean but.. really. Just stay away from me, don't come so near me. Especially those whom I am not shou with. Come so near me for what? Even if we are friends, even if we are both female, that doesn't mean that you can come so near to my personal space. We need some personal space okie? Need to leave a gap between people.

Went to JB with my colleagues, Rokiah, Anna and Cindy, today. Wanted to go to Danga Mall at first but changed our mind last minute and just stick to City Square Mall. It has been a long time since I went to City Square Mall. It has changed so much! The things there are not as cheap as before, almost the same price as Singapore's Far East and Bugis. So I didn't really buy many things. Just bought food for the family and cut my hair.

Anyway, we didn't have much time to shop as Anna needed to return early. Perhaps next time shall go there earlier and go back later. Haha~ By the way, saw Emily at the custom today. What a coincidence!

Went to REDS salon with Cindy. So cool there, can facebook and play games!

Celebrated Robin's birthday on 16th Oct, Sat. Somehow, I was sick on that day and was late to meet Robin. Subsequently, we missed the movie. Ah yoh~ Like not a very good birthday celebration. So decided to meet him on his actual birthday, 18th Oct, to give him a treat.

Okie, I know. I am flooding my blog with posts. Long long posts somemore. But I would really like to say this. Today, I flew Robin's aeroplane. I didn't really mean to but.. I don't really know why myself too. Too tired and lazy, I suppose. I just feel very tired easily recently. Stress from work also makes me zzz.

Oh well. I'm sorry for not being a good gf. Ah yoh. Sometimes I also think that I'm not a good friend as well. I try to be but it's hard. Maybe it's because I didn't put in enough effort. However, if that's the case, the other party is also not putting in enough effort to be a good friend to me. Right? Anyway, it's hard to say because we just see things from our perspective. (Okie, maybe only I do? But sometimes really hard to see things from other people's perspective what. Especially when we are not them so how to see things alike?)

Genting Travel Trip

Greetings! Wonder if I should blog about my Genting trip since it has been some time ago. Anyway, went for a short trip with my Mum to Genting from 11th-13th October. Haven't been there since I was a kid. The place looks very different now and not as cold as I remembered. So anyone who wants to go to Genting, just remember to bring along a sweater.

By the way, we stayed in First World hotel. Not so bad except that there's a long queue just to check-in. It is also in the Guinese book of records for having the most number of rooms in a hotel. (Fyi, it has 6118 rooms.)

On the first day, went to watch Detective Dee (in Cantonese. OMG!) with Mummy.

There's a Singapore in Genting. Haha~ Do check out the cultural village there. Quite interesting but things are expensive.

Went in to the Casino at night. Won RM50 for the first day but lost RM120 on the second day. Dots~ We just played jackpot as we don't know how to gamble other things. One thing which I don't like about the casino, I smelt of cigarette smoke. The smell is very strong.

On day 2, we went to visit the Chin Swee Caves Temple. The people there are nice. Wrote my wishes there (Don't ask me what it is. Secret okie?) and I saw people 放鞭炮。 It's a cool sight. Did not try though. Maybe next time I can try.
