Trip to the Night Safari

We brought one of our colleagues from UK to the Night Safari after work one day. Took the MRT to Ang Mo Kio, followed by a cab. It was drizzling a little as we travelled there. Fortunately, it stopped raining when we reached and it was cooling.

Had dinner at Bongo Burgers which is located at the entrance of the Night Safari before beginning our visit. The food which I had there is so-so. Wanted to try the spring chicken but need to wait for around 20 mins so I decided to order the fish and chips instead.

Took cab home afterwards. Was feeling kinda tired. I think there are buses there to the city area. Can ask around when you are there. 

Review - Medz at Orchard Central

There are many restaurants and dining places in Orchard Central. That mall is pretty quiet so you can go there to check out food places. I prefer eating in not so crowded places. Went to Medz in Orchard Central basement with Onyee on one Sunday. The concept of that restaurant is similar to Marche but they offer mediterranean cuisine. On entering the restaurant, you are given individual billing cards, you pick and choose your dishes and pay when you check-out.

 When this thing rings and vibrates, your food is ready for collection!

 Just charge everything to your card and pay when you are leaving.

 There are many nice stalls.

 Onyee ordered the seafood paella rice.

 There are also many delicious-looking desserts. We were too full so we only ordered 2 dishes to try and share. This one is creme brûlée. A little too sweet for me.

Sorry, I forgot what this is called all of a sudden but it is really good! I like =)

I think that dinner cost us about $30 each. Not too bad. 

Wedding Lunch at Traders Hotel

Was invited to Robin's friend's wedding lunch with him one Sunday at Traders Hotel. Overall, I think that the food and ambience there are not bad. The location is pretty convenient too, very central. I am not sure how much is a table. Those who are interested can call the hotel and enquire.

OmOcha World

If you are feeling bored and don't know what to do or where to go on a weekend, let me introduce you to this new place - OmOcha World. It is located at level 6 (near the Kopitiam food court). There are many games to play! Okie, let the photos do the talking.

I don't know what this game is called. You just need to throw the tokens and try to get the tokens into any of the coloured spaces. Different coloured spaces will give you different prizes. If you don't want those small prizes, you can also exchange it for tickets later. These tickets can be accumulated to exchange for bigger prizes.

Ranting Post

I sent a cheque to make my credit card payment on Sunday but my bill has not been settled till date. Wonder if the bank has received my cheque. Gosh! Then should I make another payment or what? The due date is almost approaching..

My skin is feeling itchy again. WTH lah! Hate it!

I also don't like to lend people things. It's easy to lend but they don't bother to return. Haiz~ I am sick of people again =.= I don't even borrow or owe people anything. Why can't they be the same. 有借有还，再借不难嘛。

Lastly, really don't understand why some people need to 动手动脚 when they talk. Like hit your/my arm. Can't they just talk normally? Gee!

Riot in Little India

OMG! Just heard about this riot in Little India. Not really sure about the whole story though. Need to read the news tomorrow. As of now, CNA website is very vague. Oh boy. It is really scary that such a thing is happening in Singapore. Those people even dared to burn police cars and the ambulance. Hopefully, no one dies in this incident. Guess the police really need to patrol the Little India area more often. For those who are interested, there are quite a number of videos on Youtube regarding this. Just go find. Too lazy to upload them here on my blog.
